Peoria County Holiday Closures in February

The 10th Judicial Circuit will not be in session on Wednesday, February 12, in observance of Lincoln's Birthday. The Peoria County Courthouse and other County offices will remain open.

Monday, February 17, 2025

The Peoria County Courthouse, Veterans Assistance Commission, Animal Protection Services (PCAPS) offices, Regional Office of Education, and Highway Department offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of Presidents Day.

The Peoria City/County Health Department offices in the Health & Human Services building will be open 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on February 17.

The Election Commission will be open for early voting on February 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Animal control officers will be on duty and can be reached by calling (309) 674-3131.

The Peoria County Sheriff's Office, Jail, and Juvenile Detention Center will remain staffed and functioning, but records and in-person visitation will be closed on Monday, February 17. Inmates can still be visited remotely throughout the closure, and the bonding lobby will also retain normal hours.
