City of Birmingham to host Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24

Birmingham, AL - Mayor Randall L. Woodfin will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 24 at Railroad Park from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will feature a DJ, food trucks, face painting, balloon art, free samples provided by Coca-Cola and a visit from the Easter Bunny. The city's Department of Park and Recreation will have fun activities for children. The Birmingham Squadron mascot will make an appearance, and there will be giveaways from the Birmingham Legion. This will be a free event.

The first Easter Egg Hunt will start at 2 p.m. for ages 0 to 5 in the park's amphitheater area. The second Easter Egg Hunt will start at 2:30 p.m. for ages 6 to 10 in the park's meadow area.

"As we embrace the Easter season, I invite families to bring their children and lawn chairs to Railroad Park for an afternoon of happiness and positivity. This will be a day filled with laughter and fun,'' said Mayor Randall L. Woodfin.
