San Quentin Pump Station: April 2024 update

The main concrete structure for the new San Quentin Pump Station was recently completed. However, due to widespread material supply chain challenges impactingconstruction projects across the board, the delivery of crucial electrical components essential for controlling the new pumps isn'tanticipatedto arriveuntilOctober. Consequently, the primary construction activities have been put on hold until summer. During this interim period, City staff and the contractor are diligently assessing the condition of the outfall pipe associated with the current pump station, aiming to ascertainthe scope of necessary repairs.
