WTW announces Despina Buganski head of personal lines, CRB NA

NEW YORK, January 4, 2024 - WTW (NASDAQ: WTW), a leading global advisory, broking, and solutions company, today announced the appointment of Despina Buganski as Head of Personal Lines, Corporate Risk & Broking, North America (CRB NA) at WTW. Previously serving as Chief Operating Officer for the personal lines business, Buganski's promotion is a well-deserved opportunity given her robust experience in managing the operations for WTW's personal lines business throughout North America.

Buganski will manage a seasoned, successful part of CRB's business across North America with a recognized brand and the deep respect of clients and carrier partners throughout the market. In addition to Buganski, who now manages the team, the personal lines group is managed by strong leadership with deep experience and resilient carrier relationships. Effective immediately, both the U.S. and Canadian personal lines teams will report directly to Buganski, who will report directly to Ionel Rizea, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Strategy and Execution, CRB NA.

With more than 30 years of industry experience, Buganski brings a strong foundation of insurance industry knowledge and understanding of the personal lines markets. Joining WTW in 2010, she has served as Chief Operations Officer for the Personal Lines business since 2015. In that role, Buganski has improved organizational efficiency, enhanced operational excellence, and increased productivity for this valuable component of the CRB NA business. She maintains an extraordinary network of professionals and executives throughout the personal lines insurance marketplace. Furthermore, her ability to leverage these relationships ensures that WTW consistently offers the most comprehensive and timely options for complex exposures, while delivering a first-rate level of service. Buganski is a respected executive who has demonstrated a significant ability to achieve, and in many cases surpass, her objectives.
