Sparks Fire Department to Host Series of Community Engagement Events

Sparks, NV - The Sparks Fire Department will host a series of Community Engagement Events at each of its five fire stations, starting May 20, 2024, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

"We will provide an overview of operations, introduce members of the department, provide station and apparatus tours, and seek the public's valuable input into its community-driven strategic planning process," said Fire Chief Walt White.

Dates of the Community Engagement Events are:

• Monday, May 20 at Fire Station 1, 1650 Victorian Ave.
• Tuesday, May 21 at Fire Station 3, 1750 E. Greg Street.
• Monday, June 3 at Fire Station 5, 6490 Vista Blvd.
• Tuesday, June 4 at Fire Station 4, 1450 Disc Drive
• Wednesday, June 5 at Fire Station 2, 2900 N. Truckee Lane

Families living in the neighborhoods surrounding the fire stations are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
