Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department's Third District seek the public's assistance in identifying and locating a person of interest in a Theft One (Stolen Auto) offense that occurred on Saturday, July 30, 2022, in the 1600 block of Columbia Road, Northwest.

At approximately 3:48 pm, a suspect entered an unattended running vehicle at the listed location. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle has since been recovered.
