Data warehouse testing scheduled Oct. 14-18

In April 2024, the Next Frontier Program shared the expected benefits that will result from the university's migration to a new data warehouse built on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including:

• Improved performance of reports and dashboards in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Data Visualizer.
• Reduced frequency of load errors that impact OAC (non real-time) reports containing financial and HCM data.

The Next Frontier Program has announced that the project team will soon wrap up back-end testing and create a space for report users to test report performance before going live.

The warehouse migration will impact OAC and Data Visualizer reporting. This will not impact any real-time reporting. Any reports generated through Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence or directly within the systems will be unaffected.

Testers will be identified during September, with testing scheduled Oct. 14-18.
