Adaptive Events for Kids, Teens, Adults

Adaptive Play: Kids Ages 2-5 Years Old

Welcome to adaptive play for younger kids! Please note a small schedule adjustment to Saturdays only:

  • Saturdays @ 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
  • Located at the Centennial Recreation Center Multipurpose Room
  • Event flyer in English and Spanish (PDF)

Adaptive Indoor Play Corazón Care Project creates an inclusive indoor play area for children with disabilities aged 2 to 5. Come with your child and enjoy the playground equipment in a safe indoor facility. Children must be supervised at all times. Donations suggested: $5 per session.

Adaptive Hangouts: Teens & Adults

Adaptive hangouts are for teens and adults of all abilities. Both adult and teen hangouts are at the Centennial Recreation Teen Center, 171 West Edmundson Ave.

Adaptive Teens Hangout, Youths in Grades 6 - 12

There will be multiple choice or specific activities to do. Also, participants will be able to use the different equipment that the Teen Center offers, such as ping pong and pool table, computers, and video games. A parent must remain on the premises for the duration of the program. No pre-registration is required.

Come and join the fun! All abilities are welcome!

Adaptive Adult Hangout for 18+ Years Old

Second and third Tuesdays of each month, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m., Event Flyer (PDF)

This program is designed for adults (18+) with disabilities. There will be multiple choice or specific activities to do. Also, participants will be able to use the different equipment that the Teen Center offers such as ping pong table, computers, and video games. Bring your friends!

  • Feb 2/13 & 2/20
  • Mar 3/12 & 3/19
  • Apr 4/9 & 4/16
  • May 5/14 & 5/21
  • Stay tuned for future sessions through Summer and Fall.

Drop-in: $5 (CRC Member & Non-Member). Register and pay in person on the day of at the Centennial Recreation Center Welcome Desk.
