Resident Notice Regarding E Grant Street to E Garfield Street - Construction Phase 2 Road Closure

Residents of South Church Street - E Grant Street to E Garfield Street

DMS Contracting, Inc will be closing S. Church Street from E. Grant St to E. Garfield Street starting Thursday May 2st, 2024 at 7:00am. All residents are encouraged to have their vehicles off the roadway between the hours of 6:30am and 4:30pm daily. If you have a special need requiring your vehicle to remain on the roadway between the posted hours, please reach out to DMS Contracting Supervisor, Jeff Davitz at 618-615-8750 to coordinate.

Access to S Church St is encouraged via any side street effected within the closure, then north or south to your resident. This closure is scheduled to be completed by October 2024.

Work includes removal of all curbs, sidewalk and driveways as well as new roadway surface. Resident are requested to cooperate when construction activities adjacent to your home. This cooperation includes restricted parking on street, restricted or limited access to your driveway and sidewalks.

Crews will be providing access to those with special needs. Those residents who request this service are ask to identify your needs in advance to the construction in front of your home. You may reach out to our office to further discuss those conditions.
