Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Desecration of Palestinian Martyrs' Bodies Is Further Proof of the Occupation's Atrocities

The Ministry Continues to Address These Crimes with States and International Bodies

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates condemns in the strongest terms the relentless crimes and genocidal war against the Palestinian people in the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, and in the Gaza Strip. This includes the extrajudicial execution of five Palestinians in Gaza, as well as others who were martyred today, Tuesday, in Jenin Refugee Camp. The Ministry strongly condemns the Israeli occupation's practice of withholding and desecrating the bodies of martyrs, alongside its deliberate and systematic targeting of civilians, particularly children and women.

The Ministry stresses that these practices serve as further evidence of the brutality of the occupation's crimes and its blatant disregard for international laws and norms. These ongoing atrocities are enabled by the international community's continued failure to take decisive action against the genocide that has persisted in Gaza for over 16 months. The occupation's continued obstruction of humanitarian aid delivery is a clear escalation of its genocidal policies and an intentional attempt to create oppressive conditions aimed at forcibly displacing the Palestinian people from their land.

The Ministry remains steadfast in its efforts to expose the occupation's crimes before international bodies, particularly the UN Security Council, the Human Rights Council, and other forums. It continues to push for the activation of accountability mechanisms to ensure justice for the victims and uphold their rights.
