USD News Minute: What you need to know this week at USD

This is your USD News Minute!

The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge announced the names of 82 college students who were selected for the Student Voting Honor Roll which recognizes college students at participating campuses who have gone above and beyond to advance nonpartisan student voter registration, education, and turnout efforts. USD student Vivian Mateos Zuniga is among those selected for her work on our campus.

A team of eight undergraduate real estate students from the Burnham-Moores Center for Real Estate took home first place in the 2022 NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, University Challenge, competing against students at SDSU and UC San Diego.

And, the 2022 Military Graduation Celebration aboard the USS Midway Museum took place over the weekend honoring the more than 80 undergraduate and 52 graduate/law military-connected students that will be graduating this academic year. Military-connected students include active-duty, veterans, spouses, dependents, and Reserve Officers Training Program (ROTC) members.
