AFRL Article Highlights CTC Work on Lightcart Prototypes

We are honored to have designed, fabricated, and tested the 400Hz Aircraft Power and Light (400Hz APL) prototypes with the U.S. Air Force. The 400Hz APL combines the capabilities of a traditional aircraft generator and light cart into a single fit-for-purpose package. The 400Hz APL supports the U.S. Air Force's Agile Combat Employment (ACE) operational concept by reducing the logistics footprint, improving flightline efficiency, and expanding the mission range.

CTC continues to work with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Energy Office and its stakeholders on this project--we are actively building another battery-powered 400Hz APL prototype equipped with increased aircraft power output and operational time.
