Tajani in Parma for the Italian Presidency of the European Schools and a lectio magistralis at the Teatro Farnese (Friday 12 April)

Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani will be at the headquarters of the European Food Safety Authority in Parma tomorrow, Friday 12 April, at 11:30 a.m., to speak at the concluding session of the annual meeting of the European Schools' Board of Governors, currently under Italian Presidency (1 August 2023 - 1 July 2024).

At 12:15 p.m. at the Teatro Farnese, Tajani will deliver a lectio magistralis entitled "L'Italia nell'Europa di domani: al lavoro sulle sfide globali della sicurezza e della competitività" ("Italy in tomorrow's Europe: working on global security and competitiveness challenges"). The event is organised by the European College of Parma Foundation, with the participation of students and representatives of the city's institutional and business world.

"The meeting of the European Schools, which takes place under the Italian Presidency, is an important opportunity to discuss the education of the younger generations, who represent our future" said Tajani, adding that "the meeting takes place in Parma, a city with strong ties to Europe, and is part of a broader reflection on Italy's role in a Europe that has to face complex global challenges".
