JRC (Jubilee Recreation Centre) Modernization

• The temporary facilities are closed for Summer 2024
• Work is continuing on foundations and slabs at the front of the building
• Main level concrete slab will be poured by April 30, 2024
• The ice surface has been removed. Work inside the arena has started and will continue through Summer 2024
• Work is continuing on the new Zamboni room at the back of the building
• The tender for the new sound system is closed and has been awarded

Neighbourhood Rehabilitation is an annual program that ensures that the City's neighbourhood infrastructure meets current standards and is not at risk of failure due to deteriorating conditions.

Neighbourhood Rehabilitation - 104 Street Concept Plan

• Contractor is on site addressing landscape deficiencies and planting trees
• Work to replace underground utilities in the alley between 104 Street and 106 Street will occur in 2024
• Relocation of the gas line in the alley between 104 St and 106 St will begin in May 2024

Neighbourhood Rehab - Lowe Ave

Neighbourhood Rehabilitation - Lowe Ave Concept Plan

• This is a multi-year program for replacement of water, sewer and road infrastructure on Lowe Avenue
• Sod in boulevards to be installed in 2024
• Underground work will continue between Langley Drive and O'Brien Drive in the Summer 2024
• Relocation of the gas line along Lowe Avenue will begin by end of April 2024
