THE FLORIDA LOTTERY ENCOURAGES PLAYERS TO
PLAY AND GIFT RESPONSIBLY THIS HOLIDAY SEASON

TALLAHASSEE - This holiday season, the Florida Lottery (Lottery) encourages players, retailers, and the public to help prevent underage gaming by supporting responsible play.

"It's imperative that our players understand the importance of playing responsibly, as well as gifting responsibly this holiday season," said Florida Lottery Secretary John F. Davis. "Responsible play is a cornerstone of our mission here at the Lottery. By ensuring that every Lottery player and retailer does their part to prevent underage gaming this holiday season, we can create a more enjoyable playing experience for everyone."

The Lottery is committed to increasing awareness of underage gaming issues to consumers, retailers, and other stakeholders. Lottery games are designed to be a fun, low-cost form of entertainment that can make a great holiday gift for players 18 or older; they are not child's play.

The Florida Lottery has an ongoing commitment to promoting responsible gaming and holds Responsible Gaming Certifications from the World Lottery Association (WLA), North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL), and the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG). If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, the Florida Lottery encourages you to contact the Florida Council on Compulsive Gambling (FCCG) at 1-888-ADMIT-IT, or the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-522-4700 for confidential help.
