Poland, “Pimpa” and “Geronimo Stilton” arrive in Warsaw

On the occasion of Christmas celebrations, the Italian Embassy in Warsaw opened its doors to Italian-Polish pupils and students of Italian from the Fondazione Bottega Italiana and the Accademia dei Piccoli.

The children were welcome by the Italian Ambassador to Poland, Luca Franchetti Pardo, who showed them the collection of cribs and illustrated this Italian tradition. On the occasion, several volumes of "Pimpa viaggia in Italia" (Pimpa travels in Italy)" and "Mille meraviglie in blu con Geronimo Stilton" (A Thousand Wonders in Blue with Geronimo Stilton), created by the Foreign Ministry, were donated to children and teachers.

In his conversation with teachers, the Ambassador said: "I believe that making children know - through reading - Italy and its traditions is a wonderful investment in the future and a far-sighted approach on the part of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs".
