TSA Pre✓®Enrollment Events 2024

Bloomington, Ill. - Central Illinois Regional Airport at Bloomington-Normal invites passengers to enroll in the popular TSA Pre✓® expedited screening program with enrollment events hosted at the airport throughout 2024.

There are three opportunities in 2024 to enroll at these two week only events.

April 1-5 & 8-12

August 12-16 & 19-23

December 9-13 & 16-20

The enrollment event hours are 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday those two weeks only in Conference Room 3 on the second level of the terminal building at 3201 CIRA Drive, Bloomington.

TSA Pre✓® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and more efficient screening experience. For TSA Pre✓® travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Today, TSA Pre✓® has more than 450 lanes at 200+ U.S. airports.

Applying for TSA Pre✓® through this local enrollment event is easy. First, we encourage applicants to Pre-Enroll ahead of time by visiting the www.identogo.com/precheck. Click on the "Start Application Now" bar and then "Apply Now". Fill out steps 1 through 4. Once you arrive at step 4 of 4, type in your location "Bloomington, IL" and be sure to choose "Pop-Up: Central Illinois Regional Airport". Select "Next" at the bottom of the screen and select an appointment time (the first available shows, but you can use the drop down to choose a different date and/or time). As these are pop-up events, walk-ins are accepted the week of each event only (see dates above).

To complete the application process, you will need to bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen documentation (such as a U.S. Passport or a birth certificate and a driver license). If you have a valid U.S. passport, that is all you need for ID!

The application process is completed on site with fingerprints for a background check and an $78 application fee for five years of service. The fee can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier's check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

To find the enrollment center, enter the terminal building through the main doors, walk past the ISU Student Art Gallery and look for the stairs or elevator on your left. Take either to the second level. Upon exiting the stairs or elevator, turn right and follow the hallway around to the fourth door on your right.
