Minister Zizi Kodwa and Deputy Minister Nocawe Mafu hand over outdoor gym and sporting attire at Mabhena Royal Palace, 9 Jan

The Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture Mr Zizi Kodwa and Deputy Minister Ms Nocawe Mafu, invite members of the media to a handover of an outdoor gym and sporting attire on Tuesday, 9 January 2024, at the Mabhena Royal Palace.
This engagement continues the endeavour by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture to build outdoor gym facilities and kids' play parks at all Royal Great Places to create an enabling environment and improve access to sporting opportunities in rural communities.
Further to this, the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture will also lead a sport infrastructure site visit at the Gert Sibande District Municipality on Wednesday 10 January 2024, and a Sports Tournament at Bushbuckridge Local Municipality on Thursday 11 January 2024.
These engagements will also incorporate outreach programmes of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS), the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) and the Culture, Arts, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA).
