Wisdom Festival celebrated at kindergarten

A Wisdom Festival event with the theme of "digits and living" was held at Ningbo No.2 Kindergarten on the morning of April 23. The kindergarten children wore clothing with digital elements and participated in a math knowledge competition, immersing themselves in the fun of learning mathematics.

At the scene, the children dressed in costumes jointly made by themselves and their parents and showed themselves on the stage happily. These costumes have cleverly incorporated various digital elements, like number patterns and equations, which are both fun and creative. The children confidently walked on stage while having a better understanding of numbers and digits.

"My dad loves playing cards very much. There are all numbers on the cards, so I made a beautiful dress out of his playing cards." "I pasted many number patterns on the clothes." The children shared their inspiration for making those "creative clothes".

In addition to the runway shows, the kindergarten has also organized a series of interactive games and fun competitions related to intelligence and wisdom, such as poker classification, counting numbers from pictures, Sudoku, clock rotation, matching beverage bottle caps, and counting beans, etc. By participating in the games, the children have not only learned mathematical knowledge but also exercised their thinking abilities.

A puzzle game competition was held between different age groups to encourage the children to continue exploring the mysteries of mathematics. "It's fun! I have learned a lot. Now I know time well. The hands of different lengths on the clock are the hour hand, minute hand, and second hand. I want to go home and share this with my mother!" said Zhu Jiexin, a child from the Ginkgo Tree Class.

According to Lin Fang, Deputy Principal of the kindergarten, the Wisdom Festival activity have not only allowed children to learn mathematical knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, but also stimulated their interest in mathematics.
