Minister for Defence to Visit US for the 9th Reagan National Defense Forum ..

Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen will be in Simi Valley, California, United States (US) from 2 to 4 December 2022 (SG time). Dr Ng will be attending the 9th Reagan National Defense Forum (RNDF), where he will speak at a panel session titled "Our Strategic Advantage: Cooperation with Allies and Partners".

As part of his visit, Dr Ng will have bilateral engagements with current and former US officials, including US Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall, Commander of the US Indo-Pacific Command Admiral John Aquilino, Commander of the US Cyber Command and Director of the US National Security Agency General Paul M. Nakasone, and former US Secretary of Defense Mark Esper.

Established in 2013, the RNDF brings together distinguished leaders and key players in the defence community to address national security issues. This year's RNDF will be attended by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and other US national security officials, select foreign defence ministers, members of the US Congress, policy experts, and military leaders.
