Highlights from Senator Marshall's interview include:

"It's important that I keep my fingers on the pulse of what's happening in Kansas, across the country, we're seeing a significant uptick in criminal activities, especially violent crime. You know my dad was the chief of police for 25 years over in El Dorado and he taught me where there's drug trafficking, that violent crime is going to follow it."

"And unfortunately, with this open southern border we have millions of people crossing that border illegally, fentanyl coming with them. Now we're seeing human trafficking. The Chinese triad has invested significantly in weed farms, marijuana farms in Oklahoma. So we're seeing that marijuana traffic through here as well. So we're seeing an uptick in crime."

"You know, I think number one is it's an awareness issue - that one pill can kill. That our young adults and students are able and it's cheaper to purchase fentanyl through a smart app than it is to get pizza delivered to you. So we're seeing a Kansan die every day from fentanyl poisoning. We're using Narcan 10 or 20 times every day in the state of Kansas. So we want to make sure that we get Narcan in all the schools and just this continuing education to our children, again, that one pill can kill."

"Human trafficking is exploding as well…the cartel is coming behind where they're doing the drug trafficking, now they're doing human trafficking and behind them, and again, this Chinese triad, this Chinese mafia, is more intimately involved in human trafficking, bringing people from all over the world - illegally across our borders, setting up massage parlors, setting up labor pools, those types of things. And then on the back end of it, this Chinese triad, this Chinese mafia, is controlling money laundering as well. So we're seeing this problem explode again across the country."
