RE: Flags at Half-Staff in Honor of Bill Gunter

On April 8, 2024, Bill Gunter passed away at the age of 89. Gunter served in the Florida Senate, the U.S. Congress, and the Florida Cabinet as Insurance Commissioner, State Treasurer, and Fire Marshall. He displayed a life-long commitment to public service.

As a mark of respect, I hereby direct the flags of the United States and the State of Florida to be flown at half-staff at the Leon County Courthouse in Tallahassee, Florida, the City Hall of Tallahassee, Florida, and at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, from sunrise to sunset, on Monday, April 29, 2024.
