Chumuckla Springs Road, Mineral Springs Road, Sid Hayes Road and Watson Road in Jay closed

The following roadways in Jay are closed due to a brush fire:

• Chumuckla Springs Road, from Mineral Springs Road to just north of Howell Pit Road
• Mineral Springs Road from Chumuckla Springs Road to Sid Hayes Road
• Sid Hayes Road from Mineral Springs Road to Watson Road
• All of Watson Road

Currently, the brush fire is approximately 200 acres and residents in the area are being evacuated.

An update will be sent once the road has reopened. Drivers and residents are asked to avoid the area as responders are on the scene working the fire. View a larger map online at
