Notice of Public Information Meeting Regarding Amendment of the Haines State Forest Management Plan.
An informational meeting will be held in the lobby of Chilkat Center for the Arts on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. A videoconference option will be available through Microsoft Teams. The purpose of this meeting is to update the public on the status of the HSF management plan amendment and summarize responses submitted to online public surveys.
Information about the planning process, history of Haines State Forest, and the current (2002) version of the management plan can be accessed at https://forestry.alaska.gov/HSFamendment/.
Public surveys can be found at the link above, under the heading How You Can Participate and will continue accepting submissions until Monday, September 30, 2024.
This informational meeting will be held in the lobby of Chilkat Center for the Arts on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 6:30PM.
