Overnight Detours for EB U.S. 60 Traffic as Ingram Overpass Construction Continues

SIKESTON-Eastbound Route 60 traffic in New Madrid County will utilize detours overnight as construction of the Ingram overpass in Sikeston, Missouri continues. Several overnight closures of eastbound Route 60 will be necessary as contractor crews set the bridge girders.

This section of roadway is located from Route 61 to Interstate 55 near Sikeston, Missouri.

Weather permitting, night work will take place from 6 p.m. Friday, April 5 to 8 a.m. Saturday, April 6.

During the overnight eastbound closures, traffic will be detoured to northbound U.S. 61, then east on U.S. 62 to I-55 to Exit 67. Signs and message boards will be in place to direct traffic. Westbound traffic will not be impacted.

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.

This project received $2 million in funding through Governor Mike Parson's cost share program and will receive funding from the city of Sikeston.
