3/29/24 UPCS w/Intent to Deliver/UPCS/Poss. of a Weapon

(PEORIA, IL) Thursday, March 28, 2024, at approximately 6:37 a.m. Members of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Peoria Police Department's Special Investigations Division (SID), and Peoria Police Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) executed a search warrant on a residence in the 900 block of S. Warren Street.


Officers detained several individuals who were located inside the residence. Officers located and seized a large amount of Methamphetamine, Cocaine, Cannabis, Cannabinoids, Drug Packaging, Drug Equipment, 2 Rifles, 3 Glock Handguns with

extended magazines, 3 other handguns, and a large amount of currency. One of the Glock handguns was equipped with an auto-sear "switch" converting the semi-automatic handgun to fully automatic.

34-year-old Tavier L. Williams was subsequently arrested and held on federal charges for Possession with Intent to Distribute 50 grams or More of Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver Cocaine, Possession of a Machine Gun, and Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person.

25-year-old Jacob D. Bachman was subsequently arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.

Both men were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
