South Kellogg Avenue Closed to Through Traffic from South Second to South Third Streets

South Kellogg Avenue will be closed to through traffic from South Second to South Third streets beginning Monday, March 27, weather permitting. This closure is necessary to allow removal and replacement of cracked concrete panels.

The City of Ames has contracted with All Star Concrete for this project, which is expected to be completed in one week.

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are encouraged to take note of this construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time to detour around the work zone. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area.
