City staff have been meeting with community stakeholders to discuss next steps for the former sites of the Saint-Boniface City Hall and Fire Hall. The City is now asking members of the public to tell us what is important to them, which sale or lease options to consider, and what they want to see in the future.
Residents can provide feedback by filling out an online surveyuntil February 15, 2024, or by participating in an in-person or virtual workshop:
In-person workshop:
Virtual workshop (discussion in French):
Virtual workshop (discussion in English):
Residents are invited to host their own discussionswith other members of the community and submit key comments to the City for consideration.
Following these activities, the City will consider all comments received and discuss the results with key stakeholders. There will be a recommendation made to the Standing Policy Committee on Property and Development on the future of each property. Any future sale or lease agreement would need to be approved by Council.
