Millions of Americans have mental health challenges that may range from mild anxiety to severe, debilitating conditions. In fact, experts estimate that more than 20% of adults in the United States are living with a mental illness.
There are a wide range of treatment options that may provide relief, and you should not hesitate to seek care if you believe you may be dealing with a mental health disorder. The National Institute of Mental Health has helpful brochures and fact sheets on multiple mental disorders here: https://www.nimh.nih.gov/health/publications.
