PT Timah Tbk Main Director Ahmad Dani Virsal Named The Best CEO at the 2023 Top BUMN Awards

JAKARTA -- President Director of PT Timah Tbk Ahmad Dani Virsal was named The Best CEO: Excellent in Fostering a Culture of Creativity at the Top BUMN Awards 2023 event organized by Bisnis Indonesia which was held at the Hotel, Arya Duta Hotel Jakarta, Thursday (30/11 /2023).

TOP BUMN Awards 2023 is a form of appreciation for State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). This year, the TOP BUMN Awards took the title Competitiveness, Innovation and Prosperity.

Award recipients are assessed based on the company's performance, ideas, innovation, and business transformation, amidst the dynamic global and domestic economic situation.

President Commissioner of Bisnis Indonesia Dorothea Simola said the TOP BUMN Awards 2023 is an appreciation for BUMN, CEOs, and CFOs who have contributed and made their achievements in the progress of BUMN.

According to him, BUMN is one of the main pillars of the nation's development and economy, apart from that, with strategic investment, BUMN has created job opportunities.

"BUMN plays a role as an economic driver and implements TJSL and CSR programs. The programs run by BUMN are not just a symbol of commitment but have a real positive impact on society both in terms of health, education, and economic empowerment. The company's success is not only measured by financial figures but the impact positive for society," he said.

According to him, the award recipients have gone through various assessment stages such as interviews, presentations, and others which were assessed by independent judges. The assessment process is also carried out independently and can be scientifically accounted for by prioritizing the four pillars of TJSL.

He also appreciated the BUMNs, CEOs, and CFOs who succeeded in winning this award and hoped that they could continue to improve their performance.

"Congratulations to the awardees, we want every recipient of the appreciation to not only be proud but to strengthen their motivation in developing the country," he said.

Meanwhile, Deputy for Legal and Legislative Affairs at the Ministry of BUMN, Robertus Bilitea, also expressed his appreciation for BUMN, CEOs and CFOs who have achieved achievements.

"We hope that this appreciation will encourage and grow the spirit of BUMN to continue to drive the community's economy. BUMN as development agents can achieve independence and sustainability. We also appreciate Bisnis Indonesia for organizing this award," he said.
