During the first quarter of 2024 (January to March), ComReg's consumer news and publications included the following:

We informed consumers about

• how to top-up a 'pay as you go' mobile phone account;
• the options available with electronic and paper bills;
• making a complaint to your service provider;
• the requirement for broadband speed to be in your contract;
• Airfibre ceasing operations;
• phone and broadband price increases.

We advised consumers to

• visit our stand at The 50 Plus Show in the RDS, Dublin;
• subscribe to our consumer news e-alerts.

In terms of research and reports we

• published Q4 Consumer Care Statistics with details of issues raised by consumers who contacted ComReg's Consumer Care team from 1 November to 31 December 2023.

Our compliance actions included

• publication of information on Three Ireland's implementation of remedial measures in relation to providing its customers with Pricing and Tariff information.
