Educational adventure awaits children searching for an opportunity to learn while having fun. Pinellas County 4-H is looking for members 5 to 7 years of age to join its Cloverbud Adventurers SPIN Club.

Cloverbud Adventurers is gearing up to provide new learning adventures one Saturday a month from January to May.

This weekend, 4-H agents will hold an interest meeting about Cloverbud Adventurers from 10 a.m.- noon on Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Pinellas County Extension office, (12520 Ulmerton Rd., Largo). Parents will learn the details of the club and get answers to questions they or their child may have about joining the club.

A 4-H SPIN club is a special interest club led by volunteers who teach young people about subjects like nature, heritage arts, science, engineering, gardening, technology and more. Some suggested topics of interest that this year's group may learn about include: the science of pretzels, introduction to robotics, responsible pet ownership, marine life, and art and photography.

Space is limited for interested participants; the Cloverbud Adventurers Club will be limited to 20 members. Parents interested in enrolling their child in Cloverbud Adventurers can RSVP with Pinellas County 4-H Agent Alyssa Slavin at [email protected] or administrative assistant Bobbi O'Bry at [email protected]
