Star-studded line-up for Galaxy 947 Joburg Day​

​​Anticipation is reaching a crescendo as the stage is set for a Johannesburg music extravaganza that promises to etch its name in the annals of musical history. The highly anticipated annual music showcase, Galaxy 947 Joburg Day, will feature a dazzling star-studded line-up on Saturday, 2 September, at the Crocodile Creek Polo Club in Lanseria. Joburg's biggest celebration of spring will feature Mango Groove, an iconic South African favourite renowned for their infectious blend of pop, jazz, and African rhythms. Acclaimed record producer, songwriter, and Amapiano luminary DJ Maphorisa, will be a pivotal part of the esteemed 2023 line-up.


​Other artists on the lineup include hip-hop maven K.O., chart-topping electronic music ensemble GoodLuck, and the multifaceted Jeremy Loops.

Known for his distinctive fusion of folk, rock, and electronic harmonies, Loops will bring his unique essence to the fore on Joburg Day.
The festival will also feature award-adorned songstress Shekinah, DJ Zinhle, the sensational live band Micasa, Prince Kaybee, and legendary afro-pop duo Mafikizolo, who will bring an element of nostalgia to the show, weaving a thread between the past and the present.
Ravi Naidoo, 947 Station Manager, says Joburg Day heralds the convergence of melodic influences and promises to be a day filled with incredible music, unforgettable performances, and a vibrant atmosphere.
