New Mayor, Commissioners take Oath of Office during Inauguration Ceremony

The City of Panama City held its Inauguration Ceremony on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at City Hall in historic Downtown Panama City.

Before family, friends, and city staff, Mayor Michael Rohan, Sr., Commissioner (Ward II) Janice Lucas, and Commissioner (Ward III) Brian Grainger took the Oath of Office and were sworn into their new positions. The ceremony marked the beginning of the Mayor and Commissioners' first terms in office.

Mayor Rohan, Commissioner Lucas and Commissioner Grainger join Commissioner (Ward I) Jenna Haligas and Commissioner (Ward IV) Josh Street on the five-member commission.

Mayor Michael Rohan, Sr. was sworn in by Mr. Paul Sims.

Commissioner (Ward II) Janice Lucas was sworn in by Dr. Dinah Crayton.

Commissioner (Ward III) Brian Grainger was sworn in by Pastor Ivan Beach.
