NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC AND REQUEST FOR INFORMATION

Royal Wolf Lodge

Subject to AS 38.05.850, the Southcentral Regional Land Office has received an application for the following:

APPLICANT: Royal Wolf Lodge

PROJECT NAME: LAS 34925

GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION: Located in the Alagnak River, approximately one mile southwest of Kukaklek Lake, approximately 20 miles southeast of Igiugig.

LEGAL DESCRIPTION: NW1/4SW1/4 Section 20, Township 12 South, Range 37 West, Seward Meridian

REQUESTED ACTIVITY: Applicant Royal Wolf Lodge is requesting a land use permit for the placement of a mooring buoy during the months of June through October on the Alagnak River southwest of Kukaklek Lake in support of commercial sportfishing activities.

PROPOSED DATES OF USE:
Start: June 1, 2024
End: May 31, 2029

DEADLINE FOR COMMENTS: April 11, 2024

The public is invited to comment on this activity. The purpose of this notice is to gather input before a decision is made on this activity. To ensure consideration, written comments must be received by the Division of Mining, Land and Water at the Southcentral Regional Land Office, 550 W. 7th Ave., Suite 900C, Anchorage, AK 99501-3577 on or before 5:00 PM on the date noted above. After review and adjudication, we may issue an authorization with stipulations for the activity. The activity may be modified during the review and adjudication process.
