Homicide #12/2024, Bergamot Drive and Rexdale Boulevard

The Toronto Police Service is making the public aware of a homicide investigation.

On Sunday, March 3, 2024, at approximately 11:37 p.m., police responded to a call for a shooting in the Bergamot Drive and Rexdale Boulevard area.

It was reported that:

• a man in his 20s had been shot
• he was located outside near the parking lot of a residential building
• life-saving measures were performed, however, the victim succumbed to his injuries at the scene

The victim is a 25-year-old man. His identity is not being released at this time.

Investigators are appealing to witnesses, anyone who has dash-camera or video surveillance, or anyone who has information on the suspect vehicle and occupant(s) at the time of the shooting to contact police.
