Next week, April 28 to May 4, is National Small Business Week and Placer County is sharing valuable opportunities to help small businesses find added success throughout the region. In addition, Placer's Economic Development Office is offering free, professional consulting to downtown and commercial areas throughout the county.

"No matter their size, our fine retailers, farmers, craftspeople and entrepreneurs produce unique treasures and gifts throughout the region and it's important we support their efforts," said Placer County Economic Development Director Gloria Stearns. "With more than 10,000 small businesses in the county, we are fortunate to have so many exceptional services. Plus, these small business owners contribute to the tax base which also supports local services."
