SD Mines cashed in for seven points in the OT period to five by the Trailblazers.
On the night, SD Mines shot 47.5 percent from field making good on 28-59 attempts, including a 6-14 performance from downtown and added 8-17 from the free throw line.
Dixie State converted 28-69 from the field to shoot 40 percent and made 9-23 from behind the arch.
