Children's Hospital Association Welcomes New Vice President of Federal Affairs Elizabeth Brown

WASHINGTON, DC - The Children's Hospital Association (CHA) is pleased to announce the addition of Elizabeth Brown, vice president of federal affairs. In her role at CHA, Brown will oversee the organization's legislative outreach to Congress and coordinate closely with the policy analysis and external relations teams.

"With her 15 years of experience on Capitol Hill, Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience advancing bipartisan policy issues, especially children's health, to CHA," said Leah Evangelista, CHA's chief public affairs officer. "She's ready to hit the ground running on behalf of children's hospitals and the millions of families we serve."

Brown was most recently legislative director for U.S. Representative Kathy Castor, D-Fla., also serving as her health and defense policy advisor and staffing Rep. Castor on the House Energy & Commerce Committee. Brown helped advance of number of bills and policy issues such as the bipartisan ACE Kids Act, endorsed by CHA, and the Safe Medications for Moms and Babies Act.
