04/15/2024 - Utility Work on Fones Road Begins on Monday April 22 - June 14, 2024

Utility Work on Fones Road
Beginning Monday, April 22 to Friday, June 14, Puget Sound Energy (PSE) will start utility work on Fones Road SE associated with the City's Fones Road Corridor Project (between 18th Ave SE and Pacific Avenue SE).

Access to residents and businesses will remain open at all times but expect traffic flow to be affected. To minimize disruption, commuters are encouraged to consider alternate routes through the duration of the project.

In order to expedite project completion, the City has approved a seven-day-a-week schedule, limited to 12-hour shifts starting after morning traffic peak (9 a.m. to 9 p.m.) Approval of night work to connect to businesses after business hours will also be approved on a case-by-case basis.
