Russian Armed Forces deliver over 150 tonnes of humanitarian aid to civilian population of liberated settlements in Kharkov region

Servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces have delivered another humanitarian aid to the settlements of the Kharkov region liberated from Ukrainian nationalist groups within the special military operation.

A total of over 150 tonnes of humanitarian goods has been delivered to the local population by trucks escorted by the military police of the Russian Federation Armed Forces.

Convoys of humanitarian cargo arrive in the cities and villages of Kharkov region every week.

Direct humanitarian assistance has also been provided to elderly residents of the city, including to veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Grocery kits and prime necessity items were delivered directly to their receivers by urban commuter bus designed for socially vulnerable people.

In order to evade shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the humanitarian goods were distributed locally in districts. Grocery kits are delivered to local responsible individuals so the can receive the cargo directly without causing large queues.

The humanitarian and administrative support in all the cities and settlements controlled by Russian forces has contributed to the re-establishment of the centralised municipal authorities and the recovery of grocery supplies. Markets and urban public services are gradually coming to life. People are restoring infrastructure in cooperation with servicemen believing that it will be over soon and the peace returns to the cities and settlements.
