Giving Teal Tuesday, CCU’s annual day of giving that supports student success, set for April 16

Coastal Carolina University's alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, and friends are invited to make a donation during the University's eighth annual Giving Teal Tuesday on April 16. Donations of any amount received during this 24-hour period will support student scholarships, cultivate academic and leadership programs, impact Chanticleer Athletics, and more.

That evening, the CCU Office for Advancement will host a Giving Teal Tuesday alumni and friends gathering at Tidal Creek Brewhouse in Myrtle Beach from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The event will feature food, live music by CCU alumna Elise Testone, a former American Idol contestant, raffle prizes, games, and a special appearance by Chauncey, the Chanticleers' mascot. "Giving Teal Tuesday offers our alumni and friends a meaningful way to give back to the areas of Coastal that resonate most with them," said Diane Sanders, CCU's vice president for advancement and alumni engagement. "I love the tradition of having one day where we can join together as Teal Nation to make a big impact on our students and the greater University. Every donation, regardless of size, makes a difference!"
