Government finalises funding rules and consults on surplus extraction

The final funding and investment strategy regulations for defined benefit (DB) schemes will come into force on 6 April 2024. Employers should also be aware of the Government's consultation on surplus extraction, which aims to make refunds of surplus easier, while ensuring members' benefits remain protected.
