This Cyber Awareness Month seems ripe with goodies already and we are only ten days in. I have two new items to share:
1. A new Critical Vulnerability (9.8) has been identified affecting some Schneider PLCs. Please see the attached PDF file for more information if you have PLCs that use Schneider Electric. NIST has this vulnerability as still being awaiting analysis (https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2024-8884).
2. The Maritime Administration issued an updated advisory concerning foreign technology. This advisory may be most applicable to our tow boat operators, but it is worth looking at as it discusses a very popularly used free software for logistics management.
