Nearly 100 Foreign Journalists Visit Shunyi

Recently, 98 foreign journalists from 89 countries across Asia-Pacific, Africa, Latin America, and Eurasia visited Shunyi District, during which they toured BAIC R&D Base, Beijing China-Germany Economic and Technological Cooperation Pilot Demonstration Zone, Beijing Capital International Airport Economic Zone, and Luo Hong Art Museum , to have a closer look at the innovative and vibrant development of the district's key industrial sectors such as the automobile industry, airport economy, culture, and trade.

During a themed promotion session for investment attractions, the officials of the relevant authorities of the district's government elaborate for the participating journalists on the district's favorable internationalized business environment, preferential policies for attracting investment, and other relevant facts. The foreign journalists were notably impressed by Shunyi's global business environment and its win-win investment and development philosophy. They all agreed that Shunyi's customized services and measures had broadened development prospects for the investment of foreign investors and that they would leverage the advantageous international media channels to promote Shunyi District and foster bridges for international cooperation.

This event marks the kickoff of the 2024 "Foreign Journalists in Beijing", a themed promotion campaign for investment attraction launched by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Beijing Municipality.
