Sharing Peace, Sharing Futures 25 Years of the Good Friday Agreement, Abbey Theatre, 2 April

‌The Department of Foreign Affairs has published the programme of Sharing Peace, Sharing Futures, the Government's special cultural event in partnership with the Abbey Theatre to mark 25 years since the signing of the Good Friday Agreement.

At its core, the Good Friday Agreement is about imagining a better future for all of the people on these islands, North and South, East and West. Sharing Peace, Sharing Futures will celebrate a diverse set of voices and perspectives, with featured spoken word and music performances including contributions from Clannad, Roddy Doyle, Paul Muldoon, Gail McConnell, Patrick Radden Keefe, Aoife Ní Bhriain, and many others. Creative Director is filmmaker Alan Gilsenan.

Coverage of this special cultural event will be live streamed from the Abbey Theatre, on Sunday 2 April at 6pm. It will be available to watch on the RTÉ News Channel and streamed worldwide on the RTÉ Player. The performance will also be available to watch on the RTÉ Player for 30 days after the event.

Sharing Peace, Sharing Futures is part of the Government's programme of events to mark the Good Friday Agreement, which also includes events across Ireland's network of Embassies and Consulates.
