Governor Ducey Mother’s Day Message

PHOENIX - Governor Doug Ducey today released the following statement in celebration of Mother's Day:

'This weekend, we honor the women who love us unconditionally, support us through thick and thin, and encourage us to be the best we can be.

'Our moms do it all. They teach us to be strong and generous. They show us what it takes to overcome adversity. We turn to them when we need guidance, advice or just a simple hug.

'Moms all across Arizona have helped protect our communities and support others throughout the pandemic. Moms are brave law enforcement members, heroic medical professionals, committed educators, selfless volunteers, tireless grocery store workers…What can't they do?

'On this special day, join me in thanking all the mothers in our lives. They give us so much - and now is our opportunity to express our gratitude. Thank you to my mom, Noni, my Gammy, and my wife, Angela, for all the strength and love you give to our family. Happy Mother's Day!'
