Sheffield Assay Office is delighted to announce that with effect from 29th January, it will be providing a brand-new secure courier service in partnership with IBI International Limited.
Ashley Carson - Assay Master and Chief Executive of Sheffield Assay Office, explains that the contract with the former secure transport provider has come to an end, and it was time to examine what services were required to support Sheffield Assay Office going forward. Having previously worked with Michael Vincent, he totally understood what Sheffield Assay Office customers required, and we were able to come up with a service that no other Assay Office offers. IBI is already handling some of the most prestigious jewellery brands in the UK, and this fits in very well with our current client base.
Initially Sheffield Assay Office will mirror the current service being offered but will be working to increase the service during peak periods.
Sheffield Assay Office has offered a secure collection and delivery service to the trade for a number of years, and it has become an important part of its overall service offer. Also, not forgetting its Analytical Services Division, as part of its bullion melt and assay service.
Ashley Carson reiterates that it provides great value/benefit to Sheffield's customers to keep their businesses running smoothly and efficiently without the worry of transporting their high-value articles.
