OAS Permanent Council to Continue Preparations for the 54 General Assembly and Commemorate Anniversary of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History

The Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, May 1 at 11:00 EDT (15:00 GMT) in the Simon Bolivar room at OAS headquarters in Washington, DC., to continue with preparations for the fifty-fourth regular session of the General Assembly to be held in Asunción Paraguay between June 26-28 and to commemorate the "Ninety-sixth anniversary of the founding of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History: Science in the service of peace", among other topics.
