The City of Daytona Beach is introducing new and expanded funding programs to support businesses and enhance vitality in its Main Street, South Atlantic, Midtown, Downtown and Ballough Road redevelopment areas.

Commercial Property Improvement and Professional Design Incentive Program:
This initiative is an opportunity for businesses to upgrade both interior and exterior aspects of their commercial buildings. By ensuring they meet building codes and enhance occupancy rates, businesses can significantly improve their properties. Qualified projects can benefit from a 0% interest rate loan, forgivable after two years, with a maximum amount of $50,000. Additionally, eligible projects may receive professional design assistance with funding capped at $20,000.

Small Projects/Commercial & Business Incentive Program:
This grant provides financial support for interior and exterior improvements to existing or new commercial buildings. Existing businesses can receive up to $15,000, while new or expanded businesses may qualify for up to $20,000. This grant operates on a matching basis.

Lease Subsidy Grant Program:
Aimed at supporting existing businesses and attracting new businesses to Daytona Beach's redevelopment areas, this program offers matching grants to cover up to three months' rent. Individual grants do not exceed $1,500 per month. Certain restrictions and requirements apply.
